Capital Program

Milford Township has an initiative called the Capital Improvement Program, which plans and implements Township improvement projects such as road enhancement, drainage enhancement, and bridge improvements. The Capital Improvement Program involves long-term planning since capital projects include engineering planning, right-of-way acquisition, utility clearances and obtaining permits prior to actual construction. These time-consuming pre-construction activities must be completed prior to construction and they can slow the pace of a project.

We welcome your input. If you feel there is a road, drainage or bridge improvement that warrants attention, please contact the township so it may be considered in our program.

Purchasing

Milford Township makes purchases in accordance with state law that requires obtaining quotes for purchases in excess of $12,600 and formal bidding for purchases in excess of $23,200. Click here to view the law.
