There are no Oct. cases for the Zoning Hearing Board

The Nursery Road bridge over the Unami Creek is closed for repairs. It is anticipated that the repairs will take until the beginning of December of 2011. These repairs, under the direction of Bucks County, are being done in response to bridge inspections to ensure the safety of the traveling public.

Federal aid is available for temporary housing and home repairs or low-cost loans to cover uninsured or under-insured property losses caused by Hurricane Irene and Tropical Storm Lee. Individual Assistance might include funds to repair damages, replace major appliances and/or pay for temporary housing.
Document any damages with photos and detailed information on the losses you sustained. You are free to begin the repair and recovery process, but keep copies of any receipts from repairs.
To apply for assistance, register online (simply click on this text) at www.disasterassistance.gov or call FEMA’s toll-free number at 1-800-621-FEMA (3362) or 1-800-462-7585 (TTY) for the hearing and speech impaired, between the hours of 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. seven days/wk or visit the Disaster Recovery Center at the Neshaminy Mall from 10 am - 7 pm seven days/wk.

There has been a deceptive practice of returning septage to pumped tanks as the "water". This contains solids. No effluent should remain in, or be placed back in the tanks by the pumper. Tanks should be empty when the pumper leaves the site.
