When It Rains It Drains brochure from PA DEP

It is important for us all to think about what happens to water when it rains. Do you know where the water goes? The brochure "When It Rains It Drains" produced by the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Resources (click on the link above for a pdf file) provides a good primer on the subject.

Milford Township has been taking steps to put "Best Management Practices" into place to protect our streams from degradation. This includes installation of "bio-filters" in storm water control basins that help clean up water from roads before pollutants reach the creek.

Please download the brochure and help our community to progress in the responsible stewardship of our natural resources.
